Membership
Membership is open to anyone interested in sailing/canoeing/boating and we especially invite applications from people living locally.
 
Please note that NCSC is not able to accommodate motor boats (i.e. boats for which an engine is their only means of propulsion) and the maximum LOA we can accommodate is 30ft (approx. 26ft for moorings), maximum draught 5ft.

 Joining Fees and Subscriptions

No joining fee !

Annual fees: 

  • First Member - £200 per annum
  • Subsequent Members (partner/family member at same address) - £75 per annum

The club has historic links with the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA) and so current full members of the CSSA can enjoy discounted membership rates of: 

  • First Member - £130 per annum (plus CSSC membership)
  • Subsequent Members (from same address) - £10 per annum (plus CSSC membership)
  • Senior Member - £13 per annum (plus CSSC membership)

​SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
Social membership is available for £50 per person p.a. (please contact NCSC Membership Secretary for further information).

CADET MEMBERSHIP
For members of the Netley Sea Scouts. Cadet Membership may also be offered to under-18s who are not members of Netley Sea Scouts, please enquire for further information. £17 per person p.a.

Civil Service membership is open to Public Sector employees or pensioners, including civil servants, local government, the NHS, teachers, police, fire fighters and HM Armed Forces personnel. Civil Service members must hold one Civil Service Sports Council share and be members of the Civil Service Sailing Association (we can help you with your applications if you wish).Children under the age of 18 can enjoy the privileges of membership whilst living under the parental roof. BOAT STORAGE & MOORING FEES
 

Netley Cliff SC can provide moorings for members with boats up to approx. 26ft. The annually serviced swinging moorings are located off the club and members' boats stay afloat at all states of the tide. The moorings can be used between April 1st and October 31st (for insurance reasons), during other months members usually store their boats in the club compound. The moorings are accessible via a slipway and a shingle beach by tenders which can be stored at the club for a small fee. There is also a secure container for storing outboard motors and an outboard flushing tank. All members using the club's moorings must have at least valid third party insurance for their boats.   • Summer Season: 1st April – 30th September
  • Winter Season: 1st October – 31st March
